Mark Emerson, Owner of Emerson Construction:

I started working for a local drywall and paint company in New Mexico back in February 1989. I put in the effort, kept my word, and stayed on track. Because of that, I moved up to job foreman, where I could oversee projects from beginning to end. With lots of support from my family and friends, I decided to get my NM GB-98 contractor license, and Emerson Construction was officially born in the summer of 2000.

Emerson Construction really took off, becoming the top choice for drywall work in the area. In 2005, we officially incorporated our business and have worked with hundreds of contractors and homeowners over the years. In the summer of 2014, my family and I moved to McKinney, TX, feeling like that was where God wanted us to be. I continued to run the business from Texas, and I’m so grateful for the amazing employees who’ve helped make it all happen.
As we approached the end of 2024, we started thinking about expanding our business into the DFW area and building new connections with contractors and customers. Emerson Construction is now a registered construction and general contracting business, specializing in drywall construction in the DFW area and Eastern New Mexico.
